Gregory A. Graper has over nineteen years of experience devoted exclusively to the defense of workers’ compensation matters. He handles high-exposure workers’ compensation cases, as well as Labor Code Section 132a and serious and willful misconduct claims. His background in science, mathematics, and engineering gives him particular technical competency in the analysis of complex medical issues. In addition, Gregory is adept at addressing the intricacies of claims which involve multiple employer apportionment and contribution issues.

His clients have included the County of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Unified School District, as well as publicly traded companies, such as Ferguson Enterprises and Ralph’s (now part of the Kroger Co.). He has also represented major insurance carriers including AIG, Berkshire Hathaway, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, The Travelers Indemnity Company, and ICW Group Insurance Companies.

A native of Indiana, Gregory obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He worked as an electrical engineer for Hughes Aircraft, Raytheon and Northrup Grumman on both the HEDI, a missile defense system, and F-14 “Tomcat” fighter jets while completing his Juris Doctor degree at Ventura College of Law.

When not working, Gregory enjoys home renovation and garden projects, although his true passion is golf.
